Creative Video Concepts has a long history of videotaping many school functions. Although we do require a minimum number of DVDs to be sold, we often will include in the cost of the video a percentage to be returned to the school as a donation for the school's production costs. We will also suggest that the school collect the cost of the tapes so that parents not be charged sales tax. Our approach to videotaping school plays is to always install a second audio source from either the sound board or a remote wireless microphone at a strategic location. This will eliminate the "hollow" sound many amateur videotapes are prone to have. A rule that we always follow is that 50% of any good video is the audio; our experience over the years and success at videotaping these school functions is testament to that fact. We follow the same formula when videotaping dance recitals. Some of our clients have been using our videotaping services for over 10 years now, another testament to our quality and professionalism. Contact us for a sample on DVD of our school plays, dance recitals or high school project graduations. |
